Stroke Services Team Leader (East)

We are looking for a dynamic motivated and experienced AHP or Nurse individual to join our Stroke ESD & ABI service.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and management of Stroke teams, providing services to patients in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls, and resource constraints

The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Rehabilitation Assistants jointly providing seamless services to patients within their homes and along the whole stroke pathway.

Main duties of the job

Ensure a high standard of care and treatment for patients and to work with other members of the team and other agencies to best meet the patients’ health and social needs.

Play an active role in the development of services in line with the Trust’s Strategy and Business Plan.

Provide clinical support and supervision to staff within the team and to provide clinical leadership.

You will maintain a clinical caseload of 30% of contractual hours, for which you are personally accountable and professionally responsible
