Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Mental Health Neurodevelopmental Lifespan Service in Canterbury, to provide a specialist psychological assessment and therapy service. To offer advice and consultation on clients psychological care to colleagues and to other, non-professional carers. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of Psicons policies and procedures.
Reports to:Clinical Lead and Service Lead
Accountable to: Director of Operations and Managing Director.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to carry out assessments and treatments of adults with mental health problems and adults with neurodiversity as part of the Adapted CBT for autism and ADHD service.
Act as a core member of the Adult Mental Health Service and Neurodevelopmental Lifespan Service at Psicon.
Undertake specialise assessment of autism spectrum disorder in line with NICE guidelines.
Contribute as a clinician, to the smooth running of services including the general business of Psicon.
Consider service development opportunities with the management team at Psicon.
Contribute to the supervision and training of Assistant Psychologists, Junior Psychologists and other professionals and staff working at Psicon as requested by the Managing Director.
Contribute to training programmes as required.
