Based in a busy office environment, this is an opportunity to work with the library team. The important task of filing case notes will be yours, should you choose to accept it.

The workload is busy and physical so you have to be able to work with speed and accuracy at all times.

Main duties of the job

 This work will involve ensuring that the case notes are filed in numerical order back into the main Library area making sure they are kept tidy at all times, this will also involve emptying boxes brought into the department, receiving these notes in and placing in the pre-file area. You will use the main hospital computer system (Camis & E-CRT) to update the destination information for the records so the ability to multi-task is essential. You will also work alongside your colleagues, searching, retrieving and booking the patient case notes out, for admissions and outpatient appointments at The James Cook University Hospital.

In addition to the above, our ideal person will need computer skills, be numerate and have a good standard of literacy. You must be prepared to work as a supportive and committed team member and display an enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude to ensure our deadlines are achieved.
