An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 4 Registered Nursing Associates to join our friendly trauma and orthopaedic team. If you are passionate about providing high quality, patient focused care then look no further as this is the job for you!

Main duties of the job

The Registered Nursing Associate will:

  1. Deliver high quality, effective, safe and responsive nursing care, in a clinical setting, to patients with a variety of healthcare needs.
  2. Work as an accountable practitioner under the leadership and direction of a Registered Nurse within defined parameters to deliver care in line with an agreed treatment plan.
  3. Support the registered nurse in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care, taking account of the perspectives and pathways of individuals, their families and/or carers
  4. Provide holistic and person-centred care to individuals, promoting independence and protecting choice, dignity, privacy and safety.
  5. Communicate effectively and with sensitivity and compassion to ensure individuals, families and carers are supported and actively involved in their care.
  6. Be an effective team member, working in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team.
