An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Administrator to be a key part of changing the lives of children aged 11 to 16 at a cluster of leading Alternative Education Schools within Progress Schools in the Greater Manchester region. As a Regional Administrator, we would want to see an understanding of administration tasks, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interest in educational administration.
If successfully appointed as a Regional Administrator, you would be responsible for supporting up to 5 small schools with administration duties. You will be an integral part of continuing the altruistic work of the Progress Group and giving the pupils the chance to either get back into mainstream schools or progress into a sustained Post 16 pathway. Whilst you will be fully supported with a range of CPD, career progression and in house training.

Expectations within the role:
To assist up to 5 small schools with administrative duties including, answering phone calls, transport services, lunch services and coordination of regional and national services within the organisation.
Be based in the largest school in the cluster with travel expected to other schools (dependent on business need). Mileage paid.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other colleagues, drawing on their strengths and expertise to best support administrative functions of the schools.
Support schools with open days, Ofsted inspections and charitable events.
Uphold and implement the schools’ safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.
Requirements before applying to the role:
GCSEs in Maths and English C or 4 grade and above (or an equivalent)
Desirable – Experience of working within an education setting or equivalent.
Experience of standard IT operating systems (Outlook, Excel, Word)
