Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Project Accountant to join the busy team of a well-established company based in Faslane.

Please note: it is only required for the individual to be present around on-site 1 day a week (rest from home)

The Role

As an Project Accountant you will work alongside the Management Accountant, supporting on a variety of month end tasks.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Accurately maintain all aspects of the Ledger including accruals and recording of sales invoices;
  • Posting of cash receipts on a timely basis;
  • Assist in month end procedure by reconciling bank statement per timetable;
  • Assist in the review of Revenue against budget or forecast, to ensure completeness and accuracy of invoicing and to contribute variance analysis to monthly Finance Report;
  • Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.

    • What are we looking for?

  • This role would suit a part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience) with good knowledge of accounting standards;
  • Strong IT skills;
  • Previous experience within financial services preferred but not essential;
  • Great interpersonal skills;
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

    Salary between £30000 and £40000 per annum plus benefits depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
