is to assist in the efficient running of facilities, ensuring the provision of an effective service and monitoring the contractual delivery by the service provider in accordance with operating standards. This is achieved by regularly walking throughout the centre, interacting with supplier staff and the detained residents.

The role includes representation at a range of daily, monthly, and weekly meetings, the production of Management Information, collating data, statistics, thematic reviews, assessing potential risks and assisting the Compliance Manager with daily administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
� Monitor and review contractual delivery and compliance by service provider, providing regular updates to manager, challenging non-delivery as and when necessary
� Provide high-quality thematic reviews into contract delivery and dip sample reports on a range of areas enabling requisite assurance of contract delivery and adherence to policy.
� Collecting, processing and auditing complaints in line with the policy, working collaboratively with the complaints department
� Perform statutory duties in accordance with Detention Centre Rules, including authorising the use of temporary confinement or removal from association for residents as necessary
� Monitoring and reporting on transfer of residents from the centre onto their chartered removal flight
� Provide an out of hours on-call service for Detention Operations
� Represent the Home Office at a range of meetings that include planning in the difficult removals of residents, daily operational meetings, resident consultative committees, Independent Monitoring Board (IMB), security, health care and safer community meetings
� Assist in giving advice around policies and procedures as and when required, in response to parliamentary questions and other official correspondence

� Strong communication and relationship building skills
� Confident ability to challenge and problem solve while maintaining good relationships
� Work effectively within the team and autonomously to achieve shared goals
� An ability to absorb and evaluate large amounts of information, ensuring understanding of policy, guidance, and contractual documents
� Ability to work under pressure in challenging environment with minimal supervision
� Proactive and confident decision-making skills
� Strong admin and IT skills, proficient in MS Office Suite
� Able to report to location without reliance on public transport

Desirable Criteria:
� An understanding of Immigration process
� Previous experience working in a custodial environment

Security Clearance:
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, we will need to apply, on your behalf, for security clearance and you will need to meet the following requirements:
Resided in the UK for the last 3 years
Have a *current* British Passport or settlement status
NI Number
2 x proof of addresses (all in UK)
5 years full history with no gaps of more than 1 month
3 years solid reference with no gaps of more than 1 month

Due to the nature of the work at the Home Office, the role can be subject to change based on the business needs at the time. Therefore, they need candidates with a flexible nature that can deal with change.

If placed into a role you will undergo extensive training and the expectation is that you will stay in that role for the duration of the assignment, or a minimum of 4 months, before we can reassign you into a different business area. If you feel the role upon offer is not suitable you will need to discuss this prior to undergoing training.
