Job description

Working closely with the Finance and Commercial teams, the successful candidate will be required to;

  • Manage company inventory
  • Manage company supply sources
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers to influence improvements in supplier service delivery
  • Order materials and product to support anticipated demand
  • Create and transmit orders to suppliers within service standards
  • Proactively co-ordinate deliveries from all suppliers to DC’s within service standards
  • Identify and resolve any order process failures within agreed service standards
  • Invoke escalation procedures within agreed standards
  • Considering sustainability in respect of our supply chain at all opportunities
  • Identify improvement opportunities through proactively examining processes and practices relating to Supply Chain

Skills required

Candidates should;

  • Minimum of 2 years’ supply chain experience, in an equivalent role, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of working in a collaborative and dynamic business environment against tight timelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes and deadlines
  • A good understanding of product development, supply chain and operational and processes within a company.
  • Advanced Excel skills and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Be able to work in an environment with office dogs
  • It would be beneficial, but is not mandatory if the candidate;

Has experience in using Sage, or other similar systems
