Due to continued company growth we are looking for an experienced Vice President of Product and Technology to join our highly skilled, innovative and successful team. As a VP of Product and Technology you will play a pivotal role in leading, implementing and achieving the complex strategy and development of existing and new products.

Providing leadership and guidance both, strategic and development to, Product Management, Engineering and Technology divisions throughout the business.

The VP of Product and Technology is a hands on role whilst being responsible for leading a team towards achieving strategic initiatives, the creation of product road maps, focusing on the delivery and executions whilst aligning the technical vision.

Responsibilities;

  • Define and implement Product and Technology strategy, structure, and processes
  • Responsible for driving the overall market leading product and technical vision and initiatives.
  • Responsible for the leadership, development and deployment of motivated, high performing teams
  • Improve, adapt and grow product and technology
  • Lead, develop, and coach the existing staff
  • Ensure product strategy is executed through full product development cycle
  • Developing product roadmaps and managing the full product lifecycle
  • Improve efficiency, quality standards and profit margins while optimising product strategy and time to market.
  • Identify, capture and forecast market and industry trends
  • Leading the team toward a productive transformation from planning to execution
  • Collaborate with members of the management team and members leaders to determine requirements and provide direction.
  • Oversees key projects, processes, and performance reports, data and analysis.
  • Experience;

  • Experience in a VP Product position or similar
  • Full understanding of the Product development cycle
  • Experience within a technical area; scientific, mechatronics, physics, engineering, software)
  • Experience working with hardware and software
  • Excellent Project Management skills – methodical
  • Familiarity with Business to Customer consumer process
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Analysis of complex data
  • Strategic thinker
  • Expert in people process and best practices
  • Relationship Building: Internal and external rapport with all members of the team, objectivity, credibility, confidentiality, pro activity
  • The ability to work in a fast paced results orientated environment
  • Solution driven in your approach
  • Strong organisational skills, able to establish priorities, whilst managing multiple tasks
  • The Role

  • Salary £95,000 – £130,000
  • Annual Bonus (10%)
  • Holiday entitlement 23 days holiday + BH
  • Laptop
  • Working hours 8.30am – 17.00pm Mon – Thur, Fri 8.30am-16.30pm (1 hour lunch)
