We are currently recruiting for an ERP Data Migration Lead to work for Avon and Somerset Police and Fire at their police headquarters in Portishead.

This role is for a short term contract and they are looking to pay £ to £ per day.

PLEASE NOTE DUE TO POLICE VETTING CRITERIA YOU MUST HAVE RESIDED WITHIN THE UK CONTINUOUSLY FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS.

Main Purpose of job:

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of ERP Data Migration

  • Manage the ERP Programme Data Migration strategy in conjunction with Namos

  • Determine a robust and repeatable methodology for data migration

  • Manages the delivery of data migration tasks within the ERP Programme plan

  • Oversee and control data migration work performed by Namos

  • Support functional areas in all aspects of Data Migration

  • Write and unit test extraction & transformation scripts

  • Execute scripts against the source database, perform validation testing of results and generating load files

  • Design pre-load & post-load data reconciliation processes, supporting the business in their understanding and execution of such

  • Manage version control of scripts

  • Active engagement with Namos to identify, analyse and fix defects relating to data migration activities

  • Progress reporting, including the identification of risks and resolution of issues

  • Liaison with BAU team regarding source system availability & refreshes

  • SQL script development

  • Previous experience of Extract, Transform and Load processes for a large ERP implementation

  • Experience of SAP Business Suite 7 schema

  • Experience of Oracle Fusion ERP & HCM schemas

  • Experience of Atlassian JIRA
