Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and will be knowledgeable with the functions of an extra care setting.

As a Facilities Supervisor you will be based at a single site with 135 apartments, where we have a huge focus on excellent customer service.

Your responsibility will be to enhance customer experience at the extra care scheme through effective maintenance tasks, reacting to maintenance emergencies, and testing building security systems. To promote and manage customer expectations, develop and maintain excellent relationships with all customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage domestic team, one team approach at all times. Manage hours, staff rota, deployment of cleaning areas, quality assure areas to a high standard, monitor and reorder cleaning material as necessary. Support aspirations of colleagues.
  • Manage individual performance in a fair and objective manner, consistent with the Group’s procedures, strategic objectives and values in order to support the delivery of customer focused value for money services. Will be courageous, willing to challenge and change to improve.
  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance of a DIY nature, of fixtures and fittings and a range of equipment, including but not exclusively in communal area and gardens

This is a permanent full time position which may require evening and weekend work. The successful candidate will be part of the on call rota.
