Main duties of the job
To plan and organise a designated caseload of complex patients within the designated service andown professional activities under the management of Team Leader.
To work with the patient and carers to identify and meet OT goals, using standardised and OTassessment tools to assess their skills deficits, occupational needs and achieve functional fitness fortimely discharge.

Job responsibilities
Manage a defined complex caseload under the management of the Team Leader, using evidencebased, client centred principles to assess, plan and evaluate OT interventions, ensuring compliancewith HCPC, RCOT, CQC and Trust clinical and quality standards.

To deliver teaching sessions in specialised area as part ofplanned in-service training.To deputise for the Team Leader when required. This involves responsibility for organising appropriateskill mix and workload.
To be a reference point for other team members.
To be responsible for teaching Apprentices and student OTs to graduate level on OT skills andknowledge within various clinical areas.
To teach, assess and appraise newly qualified OTs, technical instructors and therapy assistants.

Service Delivery and Improvement
To work alongside Physiotherapy, Allied Health Professionals and Social Care colleagues to deliver anintegrated therapy service.
