Job summary

We are looking to recruit a Specialty Registrar within ENT to support our ENT workload. There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to enhance and develop their ENT skills that fit with the needs of the department. The Specialty Registrar will be responsible to the Lead Consultant for the service in which they are working at any given time. The on call commitment is 1:8, due to the integration of Essex wide ENT network service (since August 2008).

It is likely that the venue of the outpatient clinics could change as required by the services of the specialty and Trust.

The job plan will include 9 Programmed Activities and 1 SPA (for supporting professional activities). This will be subject to the job planning process taking into account the special interest of the successful candidate. Please refer to the attached Job Description for an overview of the average week within the department.
