    An amazing opportunity has arisen to join Care Group 6 as Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in our Dermatology Department.
    We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspiring nurse leader who will continue to develop the team in delivering a wide variety of services within our Dermatology departments.

    You will need to have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to demonstrate leadership and a sound understanding of general medical/surgical nursing

    The successful candidate will provide excellent leadership for nursing, ensuring professional standards of practice and service improvements while working in collaboration with colleagues across the whole MDT and operational managers to create an outstanding service for our patients.

    Main duties of the job

    Responsible for the effective & efficient management of the department/team, providing management & professional leadership for the nursing team.

    Hold the management responsibility for the administrative and financial aspects of the department.

    Ensure cost effective use of resources.

    Be a champion of and role model for the team, to ensure high standard of hospital cleanliness are maintained in all the areas, meeting required standards.

    Utilise outcome measures and patient experience feedback to influence improvements in the quality & safety of patient care at department level.
