Permanent Veterinary Nurse – Newbury, Berkshire

  • We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Newbury for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time for 5 days per week with shifts from 8am to 5pm or 10am to 7pm, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays. There will be no more than two late shifts each week. There will be some branch work at a nearby practice in Thatcham on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

  • Your duties will include nurse clinics, monitoring anaesthetics, taking radiographs and blood samples, assisting in theatre, stock control and inpatient care
  • You will play a vital role in promoting preventative health care and educating clients in this area

  • Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
