Our client, a well-known American Insurance Broker with offices in the City of London, are searching for a Binders Technical Analyst to join their team and contribute to the continued success. A busy role where you will be regularly performing complex contract and transaction management, for someone data-focused and a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Read on to learn more.

In this role, you will be regularly liaising with the Brokers and Account Managers for the business by inputting contracts and invoices, ensuring various underwriter payments are processed efficiently and accurately, as well as taking on small ad hoc projects and report generation as required by senior staff. As you process Binding Authority contracts, you will be regularly working with Bordereau analysis (written and paid), premium processing, and other related aspects. On top of having a strong understanding of how an international broker operates day-to-day, you will need to utilise both your strong rapport-building skills as well as your knowledge of various computer software packages to deliver success in this position.

Your day-to-day in this opportunity will involve, but is not limited to:

  • Processing various Binding Authority contracts, working with the Brokers and Account Managers to input these successfully
  • Ensuring best practice in the language and presentation of contracts
  • Reporting regularly on the status of contracts
  • Training junior members of staff as they join and grow within the team
  • The right person for this role will have a prior history achieving in processing contracts for a London Markets Broker, as well as a proven track record in regularly acting with due diligence. They will have an analytical approach to all they do, and will be adept in using various software packages to do this; they should ideally also have an innate ability to pick up new IT packages as required. They will have a strong working knowledge of DCOM or BARS/ATLAS procedures, and be able to understand the various procedures used in the London Markets for different contract types.
