Data Insights and Evaluation Officer
This is a full time temporary role until July 2025
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Aspire to HE team, part of the UniConnect programme funded by the Office for Students.
This is a full time temporary role until July 2025.
The Data, Insights and Evaluation Officer is a key role within our team and represents a fundamental support role within the project. Aspire to HE supports young people, traditionally underrepresented in Higher Education, in schools and colleges in the Black Country, Telford and Wrekin to make informed and ambitious decisions about their futures.
This role will ensure that the programmes we offer are appropriately recorded, evaluated and reported to the Office for Students via the Higher Education Activity Tracker (HEAT) database.
You will also be responsible for producing data reports and evaluation for the Aspire to HE programme management team; ensuring Partnership compliance with OfS guidance. You will support the effective evaluation of key activity strands in accordance with the overall Aspire to HE evaluation strategy and ensuring that all activity is appropriately recorded and monitored.
You will work closely with other team members across the department, directorate and wider university to ensure a cohesive and streamlined approach to access, outreach and widening participation, supporting colleagues with HEAT training as needed.
We are seeking to employ an individual with significant knowledge of producing detailed reports and who can ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of information by individual partnership members, service providers, schools, and colleges, for presentation in oral and written form to Aspire to HE governance groups and funding bodies.
