An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bookkeeper to join this growing family owned accountancy firm based in Wilmslow – Cheshire.

The business services clients thought-out the North West offering a full range of accountancy services including forecasting and retirement planning services.

On a growth trajectory the business is looking for an individual with drive and ambition to join the finance team.

Duties include:

  • Completing weekly, monthly and quarterly bookkeeping for a variety of clients
  • Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
  • Respond to client’s queries (regarding Sage, Xero, bookkeeping etc) in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with clients and HMRC regarding VAT

    • YOU:

  • You will ideally be studying towards an accounting qualification such as CIMA/ACCA/AAT
  • At least 2years as a bookkeeper.
  • Previous experience working in an accountancy firm
  • Previous use if SAGE, Xero desirable
  • Good attention to details
  • Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines and prioritise work load
