We are lookingfor highly experienced Band 7 Nurse to co-ordinate a team of Band 6 Nurses and a clinicalsupport team with managing andprocessing referrals within our brand new Referral Management Centre (RMC).

This isan exciting opportunity to further develop and lead the Referral managementTeam, the front service for all referrals into Forward ThinkingBirmingham. This is a unique, fast pacedand dynamic team that strives to ensure that all young people referred intoForward Thinking Birmingham receive a priority screened and evidence based triages and supported to access the mostappropriate interventions.

Main duties of the job

Alongsideleading the team, you will be working with the Lead Nurses in supporting thedaily clinical and operational aspects of the Referral Management Centre. This will involve stakeholder liaison,developing new process and systems to ensure we keep up to date with demand andcurrent mental health trends and patterns.

We offerleadership development, clinical screening and triage development in all thespecialist Pathways including Early Intervention, Eating Disorder, Trauma andAttention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. We will provide you with specialist skillset on understanding andinterpreting clinical and operational data in order to further enhance themental health journey of the youngpeople of Birmingham

Allposts will be full time with the opportunity of flexible working and workingfrom home. The Referral Management Centre is currentlyoperational from Monday-Friday 9-5, however may be operational from 8am-8pm onweekdays depending on service need on weekdays depending on service need.
