We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our busy People & Talent team.Supporting our Editorial & Content, Operations, and Product and Tech teams, you will report into the People & Talent Business Partner, working closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner and People Operations team.This is the perfect next step for a HR Co-ordinator or HR Assistant looking for more responsibility with exposure to operational and strategic HR.
Key Responsibilities
As HR Advisor you will provide an excellent professional HR advisory service to line managers requiring advice, support, guidance and training on people management issues, where appropriate, referring queries back to the P&T Business Partner.
Providing advice to employees on questions relating to policies, company procedures, terms and conditions of employment and employee benefits.
Responsible for capturing data around new starter meetings and exit interviews, and feeding themes and action plans to management.
Managing first level disciplinary and grievance issues and supporting managers with performance issues.
Facilitate feedback processes and other employee input initiatives, e.g., action plans based on Employee Engagement Surveys, Pulse Surveys, etc.
Actively contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives aimed at improving people management and business performance.
Provide support to P&T strategic initiatives, including but not limited to Career Frameworks, Learning and Development, Competency Frameworks and Diversity & Inclusion.
Support the P&T Business Partner in the collation and analysis of HR information, including the monitoring of HR activity against key performance metrics.
Partner with HR colleagues of all levels to drive efficiencies and leverage best practices
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Qualification or part qualification in Human Resources Management, or a similar degree.
Solid technical HR knowledge
Proficient in HR software and MS Office Tools.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Sound understanding of employment law
Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
Outstanding analytical and research skills.
Excellent ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain a positive and healthy working environment.
