Seeking a number of Project Planners to join the Major Programmes Project Controls function.

The Project Planners will lead and manage programme schedules on a variety of our major civil infrastructure programmes including (but not limited to):

  • HS2
  • Palace of Westminster
  • Lower Thames Crossing
  • East-West Rail
  • Thames Tideway
  • Nuclear projects
  • Water Projects
  • Telecoms Projects
  • Power Projects
  • Your roles and responsibilities:

  • As a Project Planner on our Major Programmes, you will undertake a key role in delivering client requirements
  • As an individual we would look to you to show significant experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining schedules, communications across all ranges and levels of personnel, demonstrate the ability to work to tight deadline, prioritising tasks combined with being a team player
  • You will help to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to supporting others across the team in delivering a high-quality service
  • Showing leadership of a team of diverse individuals, actively encouraging new ways of thinking to provide an agile delivery environment.
  • In delivery you should understand your clients requirements and the impacts of the success factors of the project, developing a schedule and delivery plan to ensure success.
  • With experience in planning, delay analysis and reporting you will play a critical role in the delivery and support of your Project Manager, delivering a safe working culture within project teams that you are responsible for and to promote safety within all aspects of your work

  • As a key member of the project team, you should have excellent communication skills, allowing you to maintain relationships with your client, your team, and the organisation.
  • You will communicate progress, potential issues, and risks to inform and proposed mitigation to your client and internally.
  • Your Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience in a project planning and scheduling role on a major infrastructure programme
  • Demonstrable experience and ability to be part of an integrated project team
  • Proficient in the use of Primavera P6, Microsoft Office suite including Visio
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
