Job summary

We are seeking to employ a postdoctoral researcher on a 24-month contract to work in the research group of Dr Ishihara at Imperial College London department of Bioengineering. Ishihara lab is focusing on immunology, oncology, immuno-engineering, and protein engineering. The selected researcher will join an internationally-regarded, dynamic, friendly, diverse and inclusive team working on the application of cutting-edge drug development, addressing current challenges in key areas such as cancer immunotherapy, specifically ovarian cancer. Duties and responsibilities

This position is open for a research associate (postdoc) to work on development of new cancer immunotherapeutics. The project will run in close collaboration with Prof. Ghaem-Maghami at department of surgery and cancer, which helps to take the progress of the project from the lab to the clinic.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with immuno-oncology and drug delivery systems. It is necessary to have extensive experience in animal experiments.

Applicants must have a PhD in bioengineering (protein engineering), drug delivery, immuno-oncology (or equivalent) for appointment at Research Associate level. Applicants close to completion of their PhDs will also be considered where experience is directly relevant.
