Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary: Up to £25, per annum with great benefits (Holidays, Parking, Bonus, Pension and more)
Working Hours: Mon – Thursday 8:30am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30am to 3pm
Our client is an established organisation who are currently looking for reliable and enthusiastic individual with a passion for quality and service to join their expanding team based in Luton as a Production Technician within their production department.
Responsibilities
Wiring, mechanical assembly, hand soldering
Carry out go / no go testing
Goods in receipt
Upon completion of an assembly, to final pack of product ready for shipment.
To pick assembly kits from stock and to report any shortages.
To pack items for despatch to customers and outwork suppliers.
Liaise with Production Engineering to develop and enhance processes.
Maintain a tidy and efficient working environment.
Support regular stock checking / maintenance.
Skills
You will need to be a proactive person and able to work well with others at all levels.
You need to be confident with (basic) IT as required for the role and willing to learn new systems.
Previous experience of working in an electronics manufacturing environment is desirable.
Benefits :
Working hours – 38 hours, Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00hrs, Friday 08:30 to 15:00hrs. 15mins tea break am, 30 mins lunch break.
Annual leave – 25 days per year + Bank holidays (3 days must be reserved for Christmas shutdown)
Pension scheme – Stakeholder with company contributing 5% + NI saving provided employee contributes a minimum of 5% (will be subject to six months probationary period)
Death in service insurance benefit – (will be subject to six months probationary period)
