An opportunity has arisen to join our in house reactive maintenance service, in the North London patch. We are looking for an experienced Multi trader to focus mainly on Carpentry and relative responsive repairs in our housing stock.

You will be covering a patch within the areas of Barnet, Hackney, Haringey, Enfield and Westminster and surrounding areas and will be given an L&Q van for business use. It is essential to have a driving license to carry out this role and you must have your own hand tools (larger tools and specialist equipment will be arranged if needed)

Our Multi trade Carpenters are expected to carry out a range of tasks inclusive of internal and external door fitting, Splice repairs, General Locksmith , bathroom Sub Floors, Bath panels and frame work  kitchen repairs/refits and Other general Maintenance repairs. The ideal candidate will have the relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications or will be qualified by experience. 

We will expect you to have effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock.

Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents we expect you to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first time service. Limiting follow ons and increasing satisfaction.

Our in house maintenance team core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.
