My client is a leading UK law firm who are ranked in the legal directories for the Equity Capital Markets work they do.

Benefits to working at the firm include interesting work, varied clients, and support for professional development. While their clients are at the heart of everything they do, they also recognise that life outside of work is important too and our approach to flexible and agile working and target hours for fee earners reflect this. What really sets them apart is their friendly, open, and inclusive culture.

The corporate group advise UK and international clients from fast-growing start-ups/scale-ups to listed companies. Many of the team have come from large city firms and while the quality of work is comparable the culture and ethos within the team is friendly and collegiate.

The ECM team is experienced across a range of transactions and known for advising companies and directors, and sponsors in relation to IPOs, secondary fundraisings, the Takeover Code, and other regulatory matters relating to public companies and ECM.

The corporate group is front and centre for this firm and its further growth is a key strategic objective, and this role is an integral part of this strategy. The growth of the corporate team will also be supported by work from other highly regarded practices in the firm which has a notable reputation in Real Estate and Infrastructure.

This is an opportunity for an existing Corporate ECM Partner or ambitious Senior Associate/Legal Director with a strong contact base looking for a partner role. Suitable candidates must have significant experience of equity capital markets work, in particular AIM IPOs and secondary fundraisings. While a following is advantageous it isn’t a prerequisite, you should, however, have a good network of contacts amongst the Nomad/broker community and have excellent business development skills.
