This post will require a unique and talented individual who will continue in the strong clinical leadership of our high quality Surgery and Planned Care Services.

The service is looking for an experienced and senior nurse manager to join the Divisional Triumvirate Team. Reporting to the Divisional Director and under the professional direction of the Chief Nurse, the post-holder who must be a practising Nurse will provide leadership and direction for registered and non-registered staff within the Service.

Main duties of the job

For you to fit this role, you must be a practising nurse, who will provide positive clinical leadership with exceptional managerial and clinical capability. You will be aware of the importance of strong communications and networking and will be expected to work collaboratively with medical staff, nursing, support workers, students and other key stakeholders that influence patient care. This includes NHS E/I, NHS Kent and Medway, SE London ICS.

You must have a proven track record of strategic management, and supporting nurses in practice. This will have a positive impact on the quality of care provision within the service. We will be looking for an inspirational leader who can translate comprehensive professional development into outstanding patients experience. You will be central to delivering new strategies for Quality and Innovation and driving our ongoing response and contribution to the Trust Strategies. In return, we can offer a talented and motivated workforce and executive to support you in helping us achieve our goals.

The post holder will have significant nursing experience and will hold a Masters Degree in a related subject or equivalent experience.
