Applications are invited for a LAT post in Rheumatology between February and August 2023 to cover a vacancy generated due to inter-deanery transfer
We are seeking to recruit a candidate who is ST4 equivalent or above grade. You will be based in Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, which is one of the largest teaching hospitals in Scotland. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the General Internal Medicine on-call and Hospital at night rota
The Rheumatology department is an extremely supportive multi-disciplinary unit where you will be able to develop skills and clinical leadership. In addition to general rheumatology clinics, there are sub-speciality clinics in SLE, systemic sclerosis, Vasculitis, Seronegative Spondyloarthropathy, Fast Track GCA and nurse-led early arthritis clinics. Vascular and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound facilities are available
The department has an excellent multi-disiplinary team of AHPs and a busy day case unit for biologics and other infusions. DEXA and PET scanning are available on site
Full registration with a licence to practice with the GMC is required
The Post Graduate dean confirms that this placement/programme has the necessary educational approval
