NHS Lothian are increasing their clinical capacity across Primary Care in support of the Scottish Governments Achieving Excellence strategy and in fulfillment of the plans for a General Practice Clinical Pharmacy Service.

We are looking for dynamic, highly motivated, and enthusiastic technicians to lead in the development and implementation of a remote pharmacotherapy hub providing key service(s) to GP practices within Midlothian. The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for the day to day running of the hub and supporting the delivery of the pharmacotherapy service within GP practice is expected.

This is an ideal post for an experienced Technician to work in an innovative environment with a well-established team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop skills in all the roles undertaken by the team and promote quality and cost-effective prescribing across Primary Care.

With a National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent Pharmacy Technician qualification and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record.
