Job Title: Pastry Production Shift Manager
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Hours: 06:00 to 15:00/16:00 (dependent on work demand), 45 hours per week
Work pattern: 5 days across 7, with rotational weekends
Location: Oxfordshire

Key Responsibilities as Pastry Production Shift Manager:
* Working closely with the Head Chef and Pastry Senior Sous Chef
* Always be wearing the correct PPE for the environment you are in
* Following recipe specs
* Ensure allergen information is displayed on the stock
* Label and rotate stock
* Ensuring work stations are clean and organised at all times
* Learning how to work and maintain various types of kitchen equipment
* Making sure that all food is prepared, produced and packed to set timelines
* Assist with overall stock management
* To contribute new ideas to the menus
* Be motivational, professional and lead by example
* Keep up clear lines of communication with key stakeholders
* To be passionate about the food industry and learning new things to help you thrive within your role
* Have a flexible work attitude
* Maintain high standards throughout

Pastry Production Shift Manager – The Ideal Candidate:

* Holds a Pastry qualification or has worked in Pastry within a restaurant setting
* Experience working in a fresh food background as a Pastry Sous Chef for at least a year and wants to move across to Production
* Has a passion for food
* High attention to detail
* Have excellent leadership skills
* Works well under pressure
