Are you looking for a new role for 2023? We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to provide development and support for the Advanced Practice Directorate. You will be working within the Advanced Practice team that expands across Mid and South Essex and you will be able to work alongside the Integrated Care Board administration teams. The post is full time, however, part time working and job shares will be considered. Flexibility can be provided around the working day pattern and the role is hybrid working across the MSE locality and include home-based working.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for providing high-level corporate, administrative and secretarial services to the Senior Head of Advanced Practice Directorate and Advanced Practice Leads for the MSE systempartners as required. This will include the scheduling and re-arranging of diaries, forums, publicevents, workshops, training programmes and conferences, and ensuring all the necessary practicalarrangements are in place for events.

You should be educated to NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or have equivalent level of experience and training, knowledge and experience equivalent to diploma level. You should have substantial experience of working in a senior administration/secretarial environment, intermediate knowledge of Excel and high level of knowledge in other Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

You will need to effectively communicate with senior workforce members within MSE partnerorganisations, and wider health care bodies, including acting as a first point of contact in the AdvancedPractice Directorate for enquiries.

Working with other members of the wider administrative team to provide support to other Senior Managers as required as part of the ICB Administrative support team, your role may include audio typing, compilation of spreadsheets and reports, attending meetings, and supervising less experienced team members.

You must be an excellent communicator, professional and be flexible to meet changeable deadlines.

MSE are developing an Advanced Practice Directorate, working with Health Education England and along with the MSE Partners to provide a clear vision on advanced level practice, ensuring there are adequate opportunities, support and leadership structures in place for advanced practitioners, MSE organisations, and their respective health services.

The Project Administrator will support the effective delivery of workforce transformation programmes relating to advanced practice, providing a high-quality administrative support to the Advanced Practice Directorate. Working closely with the ICS Advanced Practice Lead, the post holder will assist in various projects across the system.

COMPETENCY BASED KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Assist in prioritising their workload/daily activities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide project and administrative support to the ICS Advanced Practice Lead and team as required. This will include the scheduling and re-arranging of diaries, forums, public events, workshops, training programmes and conferences and ensuring all the necessary practical arrangements are in place for events.
  • Compilation of complex agendas, and the taking and transcribing of formal minutes and the circulation of documents.

  • In the absence of the ICS Advanced Practice Lead, be responsible for identifying high priority requests which need to be passed to other Senior Manager for urgent action. Signpost enquiries to other staff where possible.
