As a Director in our rapidly expanding LOTS practice you will be central to the development of our growth strategy, identifying opportunities for KPMG to make an even greater impact, originating new work, and managing sustainable growth. As part of this you will lead the design and implementation of legal operating models, performance improvement, and digital transformation programmes. You will bring together KPMG and client capabilities to solve complex problems and deliver ambitious outcomes.

As an experienced leader of change in the legal sector, you will bring depth of experience across operating model, digital transformation, and operational delivery to design and oversee overarching change programmes.

You will be working with senior clients including General Counsels, Legal COOs, CPOs, CROs, Programme Directors, and CFOs.

You will also lead, manage and develop KPMG teams, capabilities and propositions, and will be accountable for developing our ability to deliver high quality work for clients as we continue to grow our share of the market. You will help our people to grow and shape their consulting careers across our LOTS team.

Joining our industry leading LOTS practice will expose you to work on a range of high-profile assignments helping legal functions and their organisations, address some of their most challenging issues.

Successful candidates will work together with KPMG colleagues and clients to:

  • Identify options and solutions to address complex client issues and challenges
  • Perform a client delivery focused role which typically involves the leadership of complex and large-scale legal transformation
  • Develop and sustain client relationships by demonstrating insight and understanding of the challenges facing clients, at a personal, organisational and system level
  • Lead and develop insightful proposals and propositions which demonstrate and contribute to KPMG’s market leading position
  • Win and lead client delivery engagements which are commercially viable
  • Lead our teams day-to-day, to produce compelling analysis, presentations, reports and other deliverables that are well drafted, whilst also addressing complex, often sensitive issues
  • Design, plan, facilitate and lead events, workshops and interactive sessions to support our clients
  • Proactively maintain project oversight, including financial and project risk management
  • Develop networks across KPMG to bring additional expertise and value to our clients

    • Expertise / Technical role requirements

  • Minimum of 17 years experience
  • A project management qualification would be desirable but not essential
  • A qualification such as being lean Six Sigma certified would be desirable but not essential
