About the business
My Somerset based client manufacture, supply and deliver a range of high quality precast concrete products for various markets including civil engineering, structures and agricultural.
As a specialist in their field, they also offer a complete design and detailing package, which includes assistance in AIP applications with local authorities. This process can be managed from cradle to grave on a wide variety of contracts from small bespoke to major commercial projects throughout the UK.
They have established a reputation for excellence, as a result of their reliability and due to their full quality management system, they have been able to achieve the ISO9001 Accreditation. Their client base includes some of the biggest hitter within UK construction sector as well as local authorities.
Their success has enabled them to move to a new factory with plenty of room for growth.
The Role
As the successful candidate you will be The Production Planner responsible for scheduling the usage of production materials to ensure optimal levels. You will evaluate suppliers for quality and timeliness ensuring that business targets are met. You will monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage that may arise.
Qualifications and Experience
In order to be successful you will possess great organisational skills, and ideally be strong in the use of Microsoft Excel
