An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join Tearfund as a Head of Talent. This role will lead the design, development, implementation and embedding of Tearfund’s Talent philosophy and strategy, through:

  • Talent acquisition that meets Tearfund’s global business needs for the near, medium and longer term
  • Talent development that releases the potential and develops the skills and knowledge of all our people to grow in their God-given potential. The role will have a particular focus on leaders, people managers, and those identified as Key Talent 

    • The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of talent management best practice (both acquisition and development) 
  • Experience of influencing, leading, managing and motivating a culturally diverse global stakeholder community
  • Operating in a senior role across a complex and adaptive organisation
  • Strategic thinker, including the skill to analyse and interpret information
  • Strong at relationship-building and working collaboratively
  • Effective communicator (verbal and written)
  • Emotionally intelligent with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good project management and implementation skills

    This is a full time role but consideration will be given to part time working of 4 days a week.

    This role can be based in any of Tearfund’s offices except in Kenya where the office capacity is at a maximum. 

    Salary and terms and conditions will be dependent on location and working hours.
