Job Description:

Working within a busy fast paced environment you will be responsible for assisting the Operations Management team with daily admin, resource planning and reporting. This will include:

  • Producing working plan for the production to include:Availability of workforceProduce a plan that meets company targets and available skills on a weekly basisArrange overtime as necessary to cover any shortfalls in the plan
  • Management of time and attendance for the production teamsEnsuring sickness reports are completed by all managersMonitoring latenessRecording holidays and ensuring that cover is available in all production areasReport monthly on absence and holidays
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies for temporary labour to cover peak periods of productionEnsure all temporary staff complete induction programmesAdminister time sheets and approvals for all temporary staffReport on agency hours worked and overtimeApprove invoices for agency temps
  • Completing reports for absence, overtime, weekend working, shift changes and bonusesSubmit reports to payroll on a monthly basis and answer any queries with regards to overtime, hours worked
  • Updating training recordsLiaise with external training providers for production and engineering providersSubmit certificates and qualifications to HR
  • Providing weekly reports on hours worked, shifts and any shortages
  • Organising medicals for all production staff as appropriate
  • Management of company workwear
  • You will need to be able to prioritise your work and manage multiple projects, have strong IT skills and have the ability to communicate across the business.
