Fire Safety Project Manager

3 month contract

South London

Circa. £400/day

Summary

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading social housing provider, currently looking for an Interim Fire Safety Project Manager to join their team.

You will be responsible for improving existing arrangements for Fire Safety, to review FRA actions, issue work instructions to appropriate contractors and supervise their works.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Fire Risk Assessment Programme is being delivered in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Provide support Teams tasted with completing Fire Actions.
  • Use the online system True Compliance to manage FRA actions.
  • Report KPIs to the relevant team for inclusion in Monthly reports and provide commentary on progress.
  • Manage the workload and allocate priorities for the Surveyor engaged on Fire Door/Compartmentation programmes taking into account the risk rating of hazards and their due dates.
  • About you

  • Strong project and contract management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of Fire Safety and related hazards etc.
  • Up to date knowledge of the relevant legislation.
  • Extensive experience managing FRA Programmes and proven track record of reducing the number of backlogged Fire Actions.
