Temporary Administrator

Canvey Island, Essex

£12 – £13 per hour

Monday – Friday 7.30am-3.30pm

My client, a well established and innovative company based in Canvey Island, is looking for an experienced Administrator to join them on a temporary basis. This could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate and is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business.

Within this busy and varied role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing site passes and manuals for new and ongoing jobs

  • Organising parking for staff on site

  • Assisting the Quality Manager with health and safety and compliance tasks

  • Processing and signing off invoices using PO spread sheet

  • Month end reconciliations

  • Credit card management

  • Assisting with updating social media accounts

  • Assisting in the coordinating, hiring and tracking of all plant hire

  • Ensuring meetings rooms are prepared for meetings including refreshments

  • Answering all incoming calls, transferring to the relevant individual and taking messages in their absence

  • Managing incoming and outgoing post

  • Monitoring office supplies and placing orders when necessary

  • Ensuring records and files are kept up to date at all times

  • Monitoring office expenses and costs

  • Assisting the accounts department with day to day accounting tasks

  • Assisting with HR Administration

    • The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Excellent administration and organisational skills

  • Good IT skills, confident on Microsoft Office Suite and be willing to learn company systems

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask
