  • We are seeking to recruit an inspiring, outstanding and enthusiastic teacher (with SEND experience) to lead a key stage/department in our school.

    Our school caters for children 3 – 16 with complex learning, physical, medical and sensory needs. We have inclusion at our heart and an outstanding reputation for the personal development of our pupils.

    The role will include (but is not limited to):

  • leading teaching and learning through modelling and developing inspiring and creative practice
  • deputy DSL responsibilities
  • responsibility for pupil progress
  • leading EHCP annual review meetings
  • multi-disciplinary team liaison
  • being part of whole school leadership team and leading key whole-school responsibilities
  • key Stage/Department-specific responsibilities
  • 0.6 teaching timetable across the department.
  • Ideally, we are looking to fill our Key Stage 4 lead position however experience in this key stage is not essential and applications from candidates who are keen to widen their skills and expertise are equally welcome.

    Key Stage 4 specific responsibilities include:
