An exciting opening has arisen in our West Africa Team, Burkina Faso for an enthusiastic and committed professional who is passionate about envisioning the church at local and national levels for Church and Community Transformation (CCT). CCT consists of various approaches that encourage churches to have their own long term vision to work with communities to see the restoration of relationships with self, others, the environment and God, so that poverty is reduced and sustainable.

The CCT Officer is responsible for supporting the delivery of the country strategy for strengthening and scaling up CCT through capacity building in Burkina Faso team, partners, and supporting the development of relationships with key church leaders.

We are looking for candidates with a strong experience of working in community transformation through the church, with solid appreciation of development and humanitarian current thinking and good practice. Candidates will also be theologically educated, with experience of working with and influencing church leaders at local and national level. Candidates must also have strong experience in advisory, coaching and training roles and strong influencing skills. Excellent French communication skills, written and oral, are required, with additional good English profitiency.

This role will be based in Ouagadougou with extensive travel within Burkina Faso.
