Logistics Manager Location: Maldon Salary:£ -£, pa Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5pm hrs per week (To include some Saturdays) Benefits: Free Parking on Site, 5% Employer Pension Contribution, 1 hr paid lunch. Adecco Chelmsford is currently recruiting for our long-established client. They are looking for a Logistics Manager to join their business due to expansion. Based in their Maldon warehouse, we have an opportunity for a practical and dynamic person to join this established and expanding company. The successful applicant will report to the Commercial Director and work alongside the Project Managers. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead all warehouse operations and the installation operatives To manage and build on the relationships that exist between the company and its customer base. Product Knowledge – Learn and maintain a deep understanding of all products. Goods in/out – support deliveries and collections, update and maintain associated information in the computer system. Reporting – advise of errors, damage, shortfalls, and other anomalies. Stock Control – maintain a well organised storage of goods and electronic records. Picking& Packing – Quickly and accurately locate and pack items from a work list, including packing/loading onto vehicles. Undertake’Dry’ Builds – to ensure client-side work is right first time via test builds to ensure robust Quality Control of supplier parts and ultimately installation on site is achieved. Documenting – ensure good record is maintained of site deliveries, site reports and exported product. Warehouse Health and Safety – Ensure warehouse procedures are maintained. Client Facing – undertake sites visits with or without Project managers as Ideal Candidate will have: Good general IT skills, including, outlook, word and excel. Training given on company systems. Strong organisational/time management skills with an eye for detail and accuracy Good verbal and written communication skills Proactive, reliable, personable, and enthusiastic Forklift Licence and CSCS card preferred, but training will be given Clean Driving Licence Ideally live within a -minute commute radius of Maldon, Essex.
