Media Teacher – Nottingham – January 2023 – Full Time

Career Teachers Derby are recruiting for a Secondary School in Nottingham, the School is highly regarded in the local community and offers a supportive working environment for the Teachers and Support Staff.

The Secondary School require a Media Teacher from January on a long-term contract basis 5 days per week, with the likelihood of the role becoming permanent from the start of the next Academic Year. The school will be interviewing ASAP as they are keen to secure a quality Media Teacher for the coming academic year.

THE ROLE:

  • Teaching a full timetable of History to KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Teaching mixed ability groups and be expected to plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons
  • Responsible for managing the behaviour in the classroom and promoting a positive ethos
  • Tracking students’ progress and planning accordingly to contribute to raising attainment levels
  • Providing opportunities for support and challenge as appropriate
  • Delivering lessons using a variety of methods to appeal to all students’ styles of learning
  • Holding extracurricular clubs as well as revision sessions
