Robert half is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a leading manufacturer in Northallerton. Role Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Bank Reconciliations and other nominal ledger control account reconciliations
  • Process cash receipts and forecast future cash receipts for the weekly Cash Flow Forecast
  • Produce routine reconciliation of accounts to ensure financial control and accuracy
  • Support the department with month-end duties and assist with audit queries
  • Support the purchase ledger process
  • Create customer invoices
  • Credit control and following up with past due customers

    • Person specification:

  • Prior finance experience
  • AAT or qualified by experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of Excel
