Liverpool John Moores University School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment are seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated individual to the key position of Subject Leader. Working with the Director of School and subject Programme Leaders you will provide leadership and line management to academic staff within the subject area of Civil Engineering and the Built Environment.
The role will cover a broad range of subject disciplines and will involve oversight with respect to academic activities, including teaching, research and enterprise. The role requires knowledge and experience of academic delivery across civil engineering, building surveying, real estate, construction management, quantity surveying, architectural technology and architectural engineering, together with an understanding of relevant professional body requirements for accreditation purposes and industrial engagement. Experience of DA provision is essential. Strong links with professional bodies and industry stakeholders is important in this role and it is expected that the successful candidate will have an established national profile
