What you will be doing

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and proactive Import service to all customers, overseas partners and related service providers. All aspects of Import operations with exceptional customer service.

  • Monitor and action generic email boxes and respond in a timely manner. Interact with UK customer & overseas offices to arrange Import shipments. Utilising ProCarS to produce Import documentation in line with company procedures. Providing customs clearance instructions to the Import production team
  • Job file invoicing.
  • Action pending tray daily.
  • Cost control.
  • Ensure all queries and complaints are investigated and responded to promptly both from external internal customers and suppliers
  • Support sales and CSM with customer visits if requested. Ensure customer invoicing is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all rates received are passed to the Team Leader for loading into ProCarS for auto rating.
  • Supporting the Team Leader with management and development of staff / arranging the necessary workloads. Supporting the Team Leader in financial and operational KPI’s.

About You
  • Previous airfreight export experience.
  • Planning & organising, Customer focus,
  • Teamwork and Team building,
  • Flexibility, Effective communicator.
  • GCSE standard in English and Maths (or equivalent) essential. Basic level of Word and Excel
