My Fulwood based National Health client, is looking to recruit a diligent and proactive stores assistant on a temporary basis.

Duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Ordering of items as required by clinical teams
  • Stock Rotation of theatre consumables
  • Maintaining the stores areas in line with infection control procedures
  • Stocking theatre store rooms with sterile and non-sterile consumables
  • Unpacking Boxes of Supplies, organising stock rotation, stock room control & customer service
  • Using a scanned machine to check in stock and check out stock once ordered from staff, Nurse or Doctors
  • Some Lifting will be required due to the unloading of stock
  • Customer service required to internal staff
  • Undertake stock checks as part of the financial management systems in place
  • Support the cost saving programme for theatres including identification of par levels and reduction of high levels of stocking to ensure value for money
  • Ensure the quality of service is at its highest for patient care
  • Support the roll out of pilot ventures including inventory management systems.
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00

    This is a temporary role expected to continue for 3 months however there could be permanent opportunities for the right candidate
