Axcis are pleased to be working with a mainstream primary school in Newton Abbot who are looking to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work with children in KS1 and 2 with SEMH.The role of SEND Teaching Assistant is full time with the hours of 8:40-3:30pm Monday to Friday on a long-term temporary basis starting in January 2023 depending on your availability..Ideally you will have experience working in a school as an LSA and will have worked with children with SEMH before. You will need to be patient and understanding; you will be supporting the children with their basic literacy and numeracy skills and general school life.This is a great opportunity to join a large school with brilliant leadership and structure. The school has been rated as good by Ofsted and its popularity amongst parents, children and staff is transparent. Many of our staff request to work there all the time.
