An excellent global Asset Manager with a wide product set spanning equities, fixed income and alternatives is looking for a Head of Business Development to join their London office, leading the distribution effort across Europe for both institutional and wholesale clients.

Reporting directly into the CEO of the business, this is an outstanding opportunity for someone with previous distribution leadership experience in asset management to join a rapidly growing firm, with European office and personnel expansion something that will happen over the next couple of years.

In this role, you will be:

  • Leading the Business Development effort for both existing and prospective clients in the region
  • Set the sales strategy and lead the execution of these plans
  • Identifying new business opportunities and supporting clients in their product, solution and serviced needs
  • Work closely with the international investment team to continue business development efforts
  • Provide a deep knowledge of the asset management market and relevant products

    • The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience of managing business development teams within asset management
  • Be able to develop roadmaps from prospecting strategy to onboarding clients
  • Additional European languages is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong understanding of how to market funds, especially UCITS
  • Be a self-starter who can take on work independently and be proactive
