The Role:

This is a rewarding role based in our busy, central Cardiff office; you can expect a friendly and flexible culture synonymous with our proposition to our customers. Salary starting from £23,000. The role will involve, but not be limited to, you performing the following:

  • You will make a real difference to our vulnerable customers in financial difficulty by having open and honest conversations about how we can best help them.
  • Negotiating with our customers who are in arrears for repayment of balances. This involves using your initiative to recommend the best course of action, or alternative resolutions, where necessary.
  • Adhering to all regulatory policies to ensure our customers are treated fairly, and the best possible outcomes are achieved at all times.
  • Demonstrating a pro-active, inquisitive and problem-solving nature to assist our customers in vulnerable and often complex situations.

  • Experience within a similar role or even industry isn’t necessary
  • Have a good level of resilience and can adapt well to difficult conversations
  • Show a good level of empathy
  • Confidence in having challenging conversations with our customers
  • Able to problem-solve a wide range of complex situations
  • Able to communicate clearly to our customers
  • Good organisation skills
