Ref: 27594Bruin are working exclusively with a highly regarded infrastructure fund in London to hire an Investment Analyst.  The fund is well established having built a strong Investment Team and track record, investing across a variety of asset classes including power, utilities, social infrastructure and many others.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Analyst from the Infrastructure M&A or Corporate Finance Team from a well regarded bank, Big 4 or consultancy firm with a strong skillset to join an active fund and start their investment career.

The Analyst will:

  • Support senior management in all stages of the investment process including origination, execution and portfolio management.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support in generating investment opportunities.
  • Play a key role on the execution of deals, taking responsibility for building financial models and conducting due diligence.
  • Prepare Investment Committee presentations and memos and support in presenting to the IC.
  • Regularly interact with senior management of portfolio companies to develop and implement strategies to add value to the companies and portfolio.

Interested candidates must:

  • Be currently sitting in an Analyst position in the Infrastructure (or related team such as TMT or Industrial) Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance or Project Finance Team of a bank or advisory firm.
  • Possess a very strong skillset including the ability to build financial models.
  • Have good M&A or project finance deal experience.
  • Hold a business, finance, engineering or related degree.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Be a self-starter and motivated to join a growing investment fund.
