DMS SENIOR ANALYST

Role Overview

The DMS Senior Analyst’s role is to provide high quality DMS technical administration and support to the firm while allowing the DMS Architect the time and space to work on DMS projects and strategic planning, and to develop new services.

The DMS Senior Analyst will take responsibility for day-to-day DMS problem analysis and rectification, administration and problem resolution for the DMS environment. As workload and priorities permit, the DMS Senior Analyst will also undertake project work under the direction of the DMS Architect.

Reporting to the Database Services Manager and working closely with other members of the Database Services team, the DMS Senior Analyst will work with the Database Services Support Analysts on support calls, especially those relating particularly to the DMS.

Candidate Overview

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Essential

  • Experience of iManage support and administration (including Server Version 10.x or above, Indexing, Work 10 Desktop Client, Work 10 Web Client) preferably in a law firm environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of SQL Server (preferably and later) including data analysis and manipulation using SQL, T-SQL, and writing and maintaining stored procedures against the iManage database schema.
  • Good experience of Microsoft Office and Operating Systems, including PowerShell.
  • Experience and understanding of legal industry business requirements.
  • Desirable

  • Experience with iManage RAVN indexer
  • Experience of iManage Security Policy Manager (SPM)
  • Knowledge of database design and file management techniques.
  • Experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
  • Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions ensuring customer requirements are met and understood between all parties.
  • Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications.
  • Exposure to and understanding of a broad range of technologies.
  • Experience and understanding of legal industry business requirements.
  • Understanding of client needs and confidentiality issues.
  • Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge/awareness of SQL Replication
  • Knowledge of SSRSSSIS
  • Have an awareness of Data PrivacyGDPR issues
