The Role

Leading the Provider Services recruitment and onboarding team the Lead Resourcing Co-ordinator will oversee the service’s recruitment process developing initiatives to support effective candidate attraction selection and onboarding across key roles across Provider services. The role will also act as a link with managers supporting them to maintain high levels of staff retention across the service. As a resourcing specialist the Lead Resourcing Coordinator will provide guidance and advice to contribute to the Adult Services recruitment strategy as well as liaising with stakeholders across Adult Services and the NHS to contribute to an integrated approach to recruitment across the wider Health and Social Care system.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with substantial people management experience with an emphasis on resourcing along with the ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills. Experience of providing advice and guidance on core recruitment practices to support recruitment and retention and experience in candidate attraction sourcing and assessment will be essential to the role.

Local Government Reformation

From 1 April 2023 local government in Cumbria will change as we move towards Local Government reorganisation. The current six district councils and Cumbria County Council will be replaced by two new unitary authorities – Westmorland and Furness Council and Cumberland Council.
